The Road Prarowitan
Prawirotaman is one of the most famous in Jogja. The number of tourists who stay here to make this place also known as the Tourist Village.
Prawirotaman name comes from Prawirotomo, a loyal servant Ngayogyakarta palace that was mandated as a plot of land to develop batik business. Along with the times, the business of batik began to fade and a lot of batik cap. Instead, batik houses turned into hotels as they have now.
Prawirotaman region is divided into three sections called Prawirotaman One, Prawirotaman Prawirotaman Two and Three. Of the three regions, Prawirotaman One is the most crowded. Accommodation in this area usually cost Rp 100,000 - Rp 400,000 per night. Deeper into the area of the township is getting cheaper tariffs. In the immediate vicinity there are also coffee shops, cafes and antique shops.
